Host a Fundraiser to Benefit CURE

As a non-profit organization that relies heavily on the work of volunteers, CURE is dedicated to channeling as much funding as possible to cutting-edge scientific research that will one day lead to a cure for epilepsy. Whether you are planning a small community event or a large gala affair, you are helping to make a difference in a very real, very critical way.

CURE’s Community Toolkit is designed to walk you through the main steps of planning, organizing, and carrying out a successful fundraiser to benefit CURE. Big or small, there are countless types of fundraisers. From bake sales, garage sales, and movie nights with friends to dinner auctions and marathons, the possibilities are endless. We encourage you to utilize your strengths and talents (as well as those of your friends and family) to make your event your own. The CURE staff will be here to lend you support and answer your questions along the way.

Here are some ideas to get you started. Please keep in mind that these lists are by no means comprehensive. Feel free to come up with your own creative fundraising ideas.

These events require little to no startup cost:
