Positions Available

Full Time

The Manager, Research Administration position is onsite at the Chicago headquarters office and provides integral support for the Research Program by managing all incoming grant applications, contracting, reporting, payments and other administrative functions. This position plays a critical role liaising between the Research Team and Communications, Finance, and Development departments. In addition to the grant programs, the Research Administrator coordinates and administers several other programs within the Research department and is a key point-of-contact for various committees and external partners.

Full Time

The Associate Director of Research will work closely with members of the Research Team to develop and implement CURE’s research strategy and ensure that our research is cutting edge. CURE has led a dramatic shift in the epilepsy research community from simply treating seizures to enhancing understanding of underlying mechanisms and causes, so that cures and preventative strategies can be found. The Associate Research Director will play a central role in driving progress toward a cure and maintaining CURE’s position at the forefront of epilepsy research.

Full Time

The Manager of Events and Community Engagement is responsible for managing and executing all of CURE’s special events, including, the Chicago Benefit, conferences, and all other events as they arise. They are also responsible for the stewardship and cultivation of CURE’s Community Engagement Programs, including the Education Enrichment Fund, Day of Science and CURE Champions events. This Manager is responsible for oversite and managing event planning and development, financials and reporting and logistics.

The Development Manager, Major Donor Relations is responsible for actively seeking new funding opportunities while developing strategies for increasing a broader base of donors to support the organization. This position is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donor prospects, inclusive of corporate, individual and foundation sources. The Development Manager will cultivate donors making major gifts in the range of $10,000-$100,000. The Development Manager will also be responsible for planning and executing proven engagement strategies that result in both donor retention and increased giving. This position will build a significant prospect base and assume responsibility for a fundraising goal.
