Paul’s Story

Paul St. Pierre was diagnosed with epilepsy in Feb. 2019. He was 12 years old. After finding out 12,000 children in New Jersey have epilepsy he worked with his mom and New Jersey Senator Beach to create change for children with epilepsy. Paul’s Law was signed by Governor Murphy in January of 2020. This law establishes seizure safe schools by mandating training for all school employees and requiring a seizure action plan for students with epilepsy. Since January of 2020 Paul has continued to spreads awareness on social media at Paul’s Purple Warriors trying improve the lives of children like himself with epilepsy. He is a true hero!
