My name is Mel, and I’m from Baltimore, MD. I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was eight years old. It was very hard for me when I was a kid. I was in special ed, but I got through it with my family and friends.
Now I’m 51 years old. I am married and have grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I’m on the board of directors, I’m a purple day ambassador for the state of Maryland, advocate, and writer and published author I just wrote my first book it call living with epilepsy
