At 9 years old, I had surgery and have been seizure free for 5 years!
I started having seizures at 2 years old (infantile spasms). At 9 years old, I had surgery and have been seizure free for 5 years! Now I’m in a choir that travels the world and I also love to dance (contemporary and jazz). Before surgery, I wasn’t able to do anything after school because I was always sleeping. I’m now taking mainstream classes with special education support.
