Nolan has been surrounded by neurologists his entire life. As a child with epilepsy, he used to wander the halls of Texas Children’s Hospital and admire the doctors on their rounds. Seeing these physicians inspired him to pursue a career as an eplileptologist. Nolan rose to the top one percent of his class in high school while serving in leadership positions and working as a camp counselor for the Epilepsy Foundation. Now at Trinity University, Nolan is driven to create positive change for those who are negatively affected by epilepsy, and to communicate to them that their condition will not necessarily hinder their potential for future successes.
