Chloe’s Story

I’ve had one of the rarest types of epilepsy ever since I was 3, known typically as Sunflower Syndrome, but also called Photosensitive tonic clonic epilepsy! I’m allergic to the sun and most types of lights.

I’m 21 years old and have had epilepsy/seizures since I was 3 years old. It has affected me in numerous ways but three main ones are drowning several times, falling 11 foot off a cliff and having a friend jump to save me, and being blinded in my right eye. I now have a transplant cornea that is soon to fail.

With being epileptic comes so much heartache to families but it’s not as severe or as bad unless that epileptic loses an ongoing battle to epilepsy just like my best friend Dalton did in his sleep!
