Chris’s Story

By: Chris Rand

I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 3 months old. I had infantile spasms and generalized tonic-clonic seizures. I also had petit mal seizures up to age 40.

I tried numerous medications: Tegretol XR, Mogadon, Depakote, Lamictal, Dilantin, and Ativan. I have been to many hospitals: Cleveland Clinic, Wallaceburg Ontario, London Ontario, Florida Hospital, and Akron General Hospital. I’ve had several near-death experiences: I almost drowned in the ocean and at the bottom of a swimming pool, and I almost died in the ICU at Akron General Hospital.

In 1998, I had a right temporal lobectomy. The brain surgery lasted 13 and half hours. It was very successful. I believe the surgical cure was a healing from Jesus.
