As CURE Epilepsy’s Senior Manager of Social Media and Content Development, Tasia takes a person-first approach to content creation and online community management. She strives to create safe, welcoming digital spaces by centering and amplifying community voices. As a storyteller, she brings our researchers’ scientific findings to lay audiences in a digestible, approachable way, while demonstrating the impact our donors have on our work and mission.
For over a decade, Tasia has worked with national and local nonprofits to guide their digital strategy, community outreach, and donor engagement, including Convergence Center for Policy Resolution, the Center for Community News, and the Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County (CEDA). Before entering the nonprofit space, Tasia managed online communities and developed content for a wide range of companies from small dryer vent cleaning franchises to AAA video game publishers.
Tasia graduated from Goucher College with a BS in Communications and Media Studies. She currently lives on Chicago’s west side with her son and a cranky cat.
