A Run for Ryan – Bend Marathon

This coming April, Alexandra Dashner will be running a half-marathon in honor of her lifelong friend, Ryan. Alexandra and Ryan met when he was just 2 years old, when both of their families were living abroad in Switzerland. For only having 18 years, he lived life to the fullest and never let epilepsy hold him back from anything. When Alexandra got the news this past October that Ryan had been lost to SUDEP, devastated does not even begin to scratch the surface.
That is why she has decided to dedicate this run to fundraising for epilepsy research. Every dollar raised gets us closer to making sure that no one has their future taken from them by SUDEP. Alexandra will personally be donating $1 for every mile that she runs in training for this race.
