TRI for Cure 2026: Chicago Triathlon Team
August 22
What began 13 years ago as one family’s fight for their son against the cruelty of epilepsy has evolved into a showcase of the power of community.
Tri for a Cure is a group of regular people who decided to dedicate themselves to a physical challenge many had never considered, in service of people who aren’t their family, for a disease they aren’t affected by.
They are dedicating themselves to help find a cure for the:
- 1-26 people who will be diagnosed with Epilepsy in their lifetime.
- 50% of people living with Epilepsy that don’t know what causes it.
- 1/3 of those that can’t find a way to control their seizures.
- those who have lost loved ones to this cruel and mysterious disease of the brain.
They are pushing themselves past their known physical limits, because they can. Because they want to be a force for something good in this world.
To make a small difference. Because small differences compound.
And so does your donation. Into something that you’d never imagined possible.
