My name is Reggie Whitten and I am a proud of parent of five kids. My youngest son, Dylan, had epilepsy. Being his dad is one of the best things that ever happened to me. He died at 25 from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy or SUDEP. It rocked my world. I miss my little buddy.
Dylan was kind, funny, smart, and all the things a dad hopes for in a kid. He loved life, his family, his friends, his teachers and he loved adventure. I encourage you all love like Dylan.
My entire family supports CURE Epilepsy’s mission to find a cure in his memory. My youngest daughter, Hannah, is now a board member for CURE Epilepsy. A cure to epilepsy would mean no other father would have to watch his loved one start seizing or stop breathing or suffer the side effects of anti-seizure drugs.
